There is NO positive reason to visit a courthouse.
This courthouse is extremely racist. I was convinced here for a crime that I did not commit. I was offered 3 plea's that I did not take because I knew I was innocent. But some how during trial the judge found me guilty despite the lack of evidence. I 30 years old and have never been in any trouble in my life. I thought my clean background would help them see but instead, they threatened me with lots of jail time in exchange for me admitting guild which I didn't do. I was charged with a M2 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, 5 years probation, a drug and alcohol course even though I don't drink or do any kind of drugs, and $5,000 in fines, and 2 years drivers license suspension. I could have appealed but I not have any more money to do so. This justice system is curupt and unfair. I lost everything because the only thing this courthouse cares about is their conviction rate. If your going here for a case prepare to loose, because they do not care if you did it or not. I am now just another Kalief Browder to them.
